Caixa Forum Madrid

CaixaForum in Madrid is a new cultural center built by architects Herzog & de Meuron. The building is a restored old power station which combines old and modern elements Alongside the building is a vertical garden designed by the French botanist Patrick Blanc. The building boasts two galleries, an auditorium, a multipurpose hall, a community technology center, a fancy bookstore and an even fancier rooftop restaurant.

Current exhibitions included one of art noveau illustrater, Alfonse Mucha (no he is not Spanish) and an awesome look into the life of Charlie Chaplin.

I would definitely put it on my must sees for madrid, especially if you are an architect freak...
