CINEMAROSA -queens only queer film series-
4th Anniversary Screenings and Party Celebration

Hosted at the Queens Museum of Art, Flushing Meadows Corona Park
Queens' first and only film/video series dedicated to present independent fiction, documentary, and experimental works focused on the lives and experiences of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transsexual (LGBT) peoples and communities presents a collection of shorts for its Fourth Anniversary Celebration. The screenings include Weeki Wachee Girls by Queens based filmmaker Kim Cummings, In The Fire by Peruvian documentarist Dante Alencastre, Easy Not by Juan Rubio, the South Indian story Two Men In Shoulder Stand by Paul Knox, Laundromat by Edward Gunawan, and Just by Davic Maaurice Gil.
Director Kim Cummings and other guests will be in attendance for a panel discussion and Q&A session with the audience. After the screenings, join us at the museum's Triangle Gallery for CINEMAROSA's 4th Anniversary Party Celebration with a cocktail reception and the alternative-retro-latin-pop sounds of Fresa Salvaje.
Directions
By Subway: E, F, V, R Trains to 74 Street and Roosevelt Ave. Transfer to the #7 Train to Flushing. Exit at Willest Point Avenue/Shea Stadium. Descend the platform on the park side and walk through the park towards the "globe," the Unisphere. The museum is located next to it.
