Fun Finds "Open House New York" - Year Around!

Here is a list of some fun things to do in the city from the OHNY news letter:

 2008 OHNY Year Round Programs

openhousenewyork presents programs that enable the public to enjoy OHNY throughout the year.

On Sunday, March 16, bring the entire family for a tour of artist Tom Otterness’ Brooklyn studio. View his new work as he discusses his whimsical and socially contemplative bronze sculptures seen in many public spaces throughout the city.

(You can see some of his  public arts display at the 14th and 8 Avenue subway  A/C/E line. This is call Life Underground, 2004)

Spend the afternoon with Elliott Kaufman, the widely published and renowned architectural photographer and International Center for Photography faculty member. On Saturday and Sunday, April 4 & 5, he will lead two workshops focused on the techniques and approaches of photographing some of New York City’s most interesting buildings and spaces.
