Spotted: the eco-friendly Sophia goes short at THE GREEN!

Ecorazzi headed out to Hollywood to celebrate the launch of THE GREEN - a weekly block of environmentally focused programming brought to us by The Sundance Channel.

THE GREEN includes a 13-part series “Big Ideas for a Small Planet” which will help viewers with earth friendly solutions and innovations, as well as a programming featuring folks greening their lives and their businesses.

At the party, we chatted it up with Beautiful People star Daphne Zuniga, who is greening up her life more and more each day. She told Ecorazzi, “I’m downsizing.” Apparently she traded in her spacious five-bedroom house for a smaller abode that’s easier on the earth. The ‘razz also said hello to Ed Begley Jr. and Rachelle Carson, who were both excited about filming the next season of Living with Ed.

Entertainment for the night was provided Lifehouse, (apparently they carpool to the recording studio on a daily basis), Grammy winner Macy Gray, and live non-toxic-paint-using graffiti artist, Kofie.

With all the celebs in the house, it was Simran Sethi who was the green star of the night. Sethi, who will co-host THE GREEN with Majora Carter, walked the red carpet with the Sophia dress by Vaness Barrantes. In her conversation with Ecorazzi, the rising eco-celeb oozed of green knowledge, green enthusiasm, and green class.

Look forward to watching Sethi on THE GREEN’s TV premiere on The Sundance Channel, Tuesday April 17th at 9:00pm. Can’t wait till then? Check out the web clips for a preview.
