Ride a special nostalgia subway train this weekend!!!

HBO is promoting Season II of Boardwalk Empire with a special nostalgia train running weekends in September. Boardwalk Empire is an award-winning period drama chronicling the life and times of Nucky Thompson (Steve Buscemi), Atlantic City's undisputed political and criminal mastermind.

The train is running on the 2 Line icon 3 Line icon express track in Manhattan stopping at the 96, 72, and 42 St-Times Square St stations only, Saturdays and Sundays, 12 p.m. – 6 p.m. *The cost to ride is $2.25, the same as any other train.

Customers who have the opportunity to ride the beloved vintage 1920s Low V train "compliments of Nucky," will be transported back in time to the Prohibition era with authentic details such as rattan seats, ceiling fans, and drop sash windows.

On the show's premiere weekend, September 24 and 25, HBO "ambassadors" will take to the streets near the 42 St-Times Square and 72 St stations to distribute complimentary MetroCards, "Compliments of Nucky."

With a little bit of luck and good timing, you can catch a ride! Or watch the Boardwalk Empire premiere on HBO, Sunday, September 25 at 9 p.m.
