Art Arcade

just saw this on Timeout - looks like fun

from TIMEOUT
Old-school arcade games get a street-art-inspired update, courtesy of NYC collectives Faile and Bäst, at Deluxx Fluxx (158 Allen St between Rivington and Stanton Sts; deluxxfluxx.com. Tue–Sun 3–11pm; free. Through May 27). The interactive exhibit includes ten different video-game machines, which were covered in collages by the artists and then restored to working condition by Adapted Studio; each one also features music by Seth Jabour of Les Savy Fav. The consoles make us long for the days when playing Q*Bert at the local arcade was considered a really fun time.
