This Week's Special Treats at La Superior

just got this email...sounds tantalizing:

Hey All,

Beginning this evening we are excited to have our great friend Julio, former sous chef at Papatzul in SoHo, honor us with a week of his very own specials! Below is a peek at the menu he crafted:


SOUP: chicken tomato broth with poblano peppers, fire roasted corn and shredded chicken.

TOSTADA: octopus tostada served with lettuce and spicy tamarind sauce.

MOLE DE OLLA DE MARISCOS: Spiced seafood stew (mussels, tiger shrimp, squid, octopus, white fish) served with corn and string beans.

WEEKEND SPECIAL (Friday thru Sunday): Carnitas de pato Taco (duck carnitas)

SALSAS SAMPLER: Dry chilies salsa sampler (chipotle, guajillo, ancho, mulato, morita and chipotle meco)
