Library, located at Grand Army Plaza, are free and open to the public. For
more information on this location, please call 718.230.2100.

The Real Story of the Superheroes, in the Grand Lobby, features photos of
Latino immigrant workers in New York dressed as superheroes. The artist,
Dulce Pinzón, believes they are unrecognized heroes. They work hard for very
low wages, which they save at great sacrifice to send to families and
communities in Mexico who rely on it to survive. Pinzón was born in Mexico
City and has exhibited her work around the world. She was the winner of the
Jovenes Creadores grant in 2002 and a fellow in photography from the New
York Foundation for the Arts in 2006.
