If you can't stand shopping after Christmas, go to the de Young museum.

They will be showing a French movie called Vivre pour vivre

Famous newscaster Robert Colomb is married and unfaithful, even to his mistresses.
After going on assignment in Kenya with a new mistress,
he is sent to Vietnam.
After spending time in a Vietnamese prison,
Colomb decides to return to his wife, Catherine,
only to discover that she has formed a new life for herself.
Yves Saint Laurent designed costumes for the entire cast.

Yves Saint Laurent @ De Young Museum in San Francisco




The exhibit is from 11.1.08 to 4.05.09.

This is great a exhibit for all our friends on West Coast,

for myself and friends who will be visiting the

Bay Area for the up coming the holidays.


Museum Hours
Tuesday through Sunday, 9:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.

Fridays until 8:45 p.m. through November 28, 2008

Closed January 1, Thanksgiving Day, and December 25

The museum closes at 4 p.m. on December 24 and 31.

Admission

Adults $10, Seniors 65 and over $7, Youths 13-17 $6,

College Students with ID $6, Children 12 and under FREE.

First Tuesday of each month is FREE.

Special exhibition fees, if any, still apply.

France Famous Fashion icon Yves Saint Laurent dies at 71

 "I tell myself that I created the wardrobe of the contemporary woman, that I participated in the transformation of my times"by YSL 

Algerian-born French designer will be surely missed by the fashion world.


He was seen as one of the greatest designers of the 20th century.
