The Shining - Tonight in Brooklyn at the Movies With A View.

This is a great movie and a good start to the long weekend ahead. To enjoy the last bits of the summer before we have to go back to normal working hours.
Brooklyn Radio DJs set the scene with pre-film mood music, while RICE provides delicious dinners on site. It's located on the lawn of the Empire-Fulton Ferry State Park section of Brooklyn Bridge Park. Nearest subways: A/C to High Street; 2/3 to Clark Street; F to York Street.

MCCarren Park is showing 28 days later; this Tuesday August 5th- Free movie!


28 Days Later is much better then 28 weeks Later, I hope they keep it as the original showing.
This is one of Cillian Murphy's first US film.

The film starts at sundown. Come early to get a good seat.

Wallace and Gromit: "Curse Of The Were Rabbit" at the Movies with a View in Brooklyn.

Tonight's Free screening is Wallace and Gromit: Curse Of The Were Rabbit.



The location is at the lawn of the Empire-Fulton Ferry State Park section of Brooklyn Bridge Park. Nearest subways: A/C to High Street; 2/3 to Clark Street; F to York Street. No alcohol or pets are allowed at this event.
Also, it's bike friendly at the movies.
Transportation Alternatives provide FREE valet bike parking.
Pack a picnic or pick dinner at the park; RICE provides delicious dinners on site, bring a plastic tarp covering for the grass, and enjoy the sunset over the NYC skyline.
Let's hope it stops raining for the evening.
