NYC Volkswagen Traffic Jam this Sunday!
The Traffic Jam is a spectator-judged vintage Volkswagen car show and picnic on historic Governors Island in New York Harbor—the first ever in NYC. Get bumper-to-bumper with Beetles, buses, dune buggies, Things, and other original and custom VDubs circa the 1950's through the late 1970's from NYC and beyond.The event is open to all. So whether you're a spectator or a classic VW owner or enthusiast, join us for a sweet day of vintage cars, picnicking on the lawn, events, music, and more!
Click here for event day information and activities. The public attends FREE from 10AM-4PM. At this car show, the audience decides "Best in Show" for each VW class...so come and vote your favorite vehicle.

The Target Kaleidoscopic Fashion Spectacular tonight!

This event is free and be one of first to see Target's Fall Line at the fashion show.Watch models strut their stuff on the street level; then gaze through the windows of the hotel to see 66 dancers performing during light shows in more than 150 rooms. It's starts at 9pm but get their early.

Target Passport Fridays 2010 at the Queens Museum
Leave your baggage at home and bring a picnic blanket out to Flushing Meadows Corona Park for Target Passport Fridays 2010, the 6th season of the Queens Museum of Art’s annual outdoor summer festival of international music, dance and film. This year’s journey around the globe begins in South Africa in honor of the World Cup, and includes stops in Colombia, Ecuador, South Korea, Taiwan, the Middle East, India, and Mexico.
Each evening begins with live dance and music performances followed by the feature film screening after sunset.
