the family bookstore presents

Saturday, July 31, 7:30 - 10pm

To celebrate the release of Cosmic Capers, Secret Circuit will be performing a special set, along with DJ Roy Corduroy

Cosmic Capers is an hour long selection of Secret Circuit tracks seamlessly mixed in the style of the Afro-Cosmic Italian DJ cassettes of the early 80s. In other words, thoroughly mind-blasting. 60 solid minutes. Edition of 150

Secret Circuit is a new musical project of Eddie Ruscha (Food of the Gods, Future Pigeon, Medicine, Radar Bros)

"We looked up Secret Circuit, Ruscha's new project, excited by the lack of extraneous consonants, and found it to be thoroughly cosmic. Dude has got a thing for vintage sounds, krautrock keyboards and hippie handdrums, like he's writing the soundtrack to an imaginary European '70s version of Weeds." -Fader

Jovanotti, Los Amigos Invisibles & Natalia Lafourcade at Summer Stage this Saturday!

The show starts at 3pm but I would suggests getting
their early to find a good spot.

A convergence of pop superstars from Italy, Venezuela and Mexico represent the global connectivity and collective ability to merge musical genres of dance, elctro, hip-hop and pop.
This should be a good show with these artists.
It does help if you know some Italian and Spanish.
So you know what they are saying but these artists' music is good in any language.

Cristiano Ronaldo sporting noir nail polish.

Not sure if I would want to be with a guy that had the same nail polish color as me.
